Hi! I’m Marlene,
A sporadic blogger who most enjoys her internet time by doing text-based roleplays, reading comics, and signing up for blog tours.
She also hates writing blurbs/taglines.
I'm a fairly typical fantasy bookwyrm; I love tea, chocolate, mountains, Tolkien, and occasionally knit. The best stories are ones that subvert tropes or use them in the best way, have healthy and/or organic family/friend dynamics, and magic.
I often wrestle with whether or not I like the dichotomy of human nature. On the one hand, dichotomy makes for the best stories. On the other...humans. People. Why.
This site will feature writerly things, such as generators and websites with tricks and tips helpful to authors of varying stripe; it will also feature things like art projects (I recently got into painting models AND I WANT TO SHOW THEM OFF), fanart (mostly commissioned, since my drawing skills are meh), and my own stories.
If something else interesting and writer/reader related comes up in my life, I'll share that as well.
